Starting this year, Japanese language teachers are becoming a national qualification, and the first "Japanese Language Teacher Exam" for that purpose was held on November 17. It was one of my personal hot topics this year, so regardless of whether I would pass, I decided to throw my current ability at it.
The third day was sunny. I woke up very early in the morning, and even after going back to sleep, I was up around 7. Breakfast was still affected by the previous day's sukiyaki, and I did not feel like eating much, so I skipped it. Some people had udon.
The first day of this retreat ended in rain, and the forecast for the second day was also heavy rain. The Otani River no longer had the usual feeling where you could see the riverbed; it had become a raging muddy stream. As a result, we spent most of the time at Kinoie.
Naoya Shiga's "At Kinosaki" is set in Kinosaki Onsen. The story itself is a very short novel and can be read quickly. Since I was heading there this time, I reread it on the Shinkansen on the way. While thinking through various things, I was also thinking about the presentation I would give during the retreat.
