On Thursday, March 19, Codex Meetup Tokyo #1 was held in a space inside the Mercari office at Roppongi Hills. I also gave an LT titled "Maximizing XR Exploration and Learning by Continuing to Build MCP / Skills for visionOS Development." Thank you to everyone who attended. This time I will write about the materials and some supplementary content.
People call turning 30 a major milestone, and they say the same about turning 40. Here, the milestone means turning 50. Today, March 11, I finally turned 50. For the past 15 years, it has become my birthday routine to watch special programs about the Great East Japan Earthquake, look back on the past, and think about my own future.
This is really just a small update, but I added a tool called inspect_xcode_schemes. It improves cases where relying on Codex to specify a scheme nicely would sometimes result in errors because the scheme could not be found.
One week after v0.1.0, which I released last week, I decided to release the next version. When I first started building Seiro MCP, I began from the idea that it would be enough to build only the minimum required pieces. But as I built it, I found new discoveries and came up with new ideas, and the things I wanted to do increased. There is still more to do.
On February 18, 2026, Seiro MCP finally reached version 0.1.0. At first I had so little confidence that I started from 0.0.1. The major topics this time are Skills support and added diagnostic functionality around SDKs. I am a heavy user of Seiro MCP to the point that I use it every day, so I decided that if I am using it this much myself, it is fair to call it 0.1.0. Incidentally, I also added a logo.
