On March 1, 2024, as winter was beginning to end, I joined a workation retreat held in Kinosaki. It was a two-night, three-day stay, and I headed home on March 3. The organizer was kazamori. I have been helping with their work for the past few years, and this was my second time participating in the retreat. Since it has been held twice so far, that means I have participated in all of them.
This weekend, I'm going on a workcation, which means a development camp, or in other words, a business trip, to Kinosaki Onsen in Hyogo Prefecture. I'll be bringing a Mac mini to develop an app for VisionOS. Now, I'm considering which bag to pack everything in...
As I wrote in an earlier article, I bought a Mac for the first time in quite a while.
Of course I can read documentation or existing articles, but I want to begin development itself, not only reading. So I will move forward with what I can do.
The newest Mac I own is a 12-inch MacBook I bought quite a while ago. I have almost completely moved to Windows, so I only use it for things like checking websites. But with the release of Vision Pro, the situation felt like it had changed. If development were possible even on a mostly unused 12-inch MacBook, or if I could at least run samples, I wanted to try it.
